Pade Vavra was inspired by her 6 year-old son’s toys and this famous photograph of George Harris. In the photograph above, he is the anti-war protester tucking flowers in the rifles of soldiers at the Pentagon in 1967. This was the year Pade was born.

For 2008, Pade has created a collection of necklaces that advocate world peace.
10% of the proceeds are donated to an international children's charity.
